Jacqueline Turner

Flute and Piccolo (Band Leader)

Jackie started learning the recorder at the age of 5 and moved on to the flute when she was 10, after playing her recorder sideways for ages.  She started playing folk music with Exeter University Folk Society whilst studying there and is a founder member of Pigs Might Fly.  She also plays flute and piccolo (though not at the same time!) with the Stan Hacking Concert Band.  In the past few years she has started solo singing; as she puts it her love of singing finally overcame her stage-fright (well, just!).  She is a member of St David's Players, anExeter based Gilbert and Sullivan Society.
